Igor Gutovskyi is a well-known coach/teacher representing Spain, working with couples from all World Organizations such as WDC, WDO, and WDSF.
Among his students are such well-known names as Justinas Duknauskas, Egle Vysockaite, and other famous dancers – world and European champions, winners of the most prestigious tournaments: Sergiu Rusu – Dorota Makar multiple World and European Champions, winners of International, UK and Blackpool tournaments; actual 5 couple of the world in professionals at WDC; Derek Hough -Aneta Piotrowska – 2003 Latin Youth World Champions; Blackpool Dance Festival Adults semi-finalists (currently Derek is famous as a former judge of the popular TV shows, Dancing with the Stars and World of Dance); Kamil Urbaniak – Katarzyna Kapral – Bronze medalists of the 2004 World Youth Championship, winners and prize-winners of the Cervia, Alassio, German OPEN tournaments; Avtandili Shonia – Gutovskyi – Victoria Pruszkowska – winners of the World Cup up to 21 Latin.
In 1994, for the first time in the history of Ukraine, the couple of Igor Gutovsky – Sergey Dekhtyarev – Anzhelika Khoroshevskaya (the champions of Ukraine in the adult category in the same year) took the 4th place in the under-21 category at the German OPEN competition beating the future world champions Riccardo Cocchi (@ 6th place) and Matej Krajcer (@13th place).
Working for many years in Poland, he prepared 13 champions of Poland in various categories. Currently he trains the leading couples of Italy, Poland, Spain, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine,
